For Teens & Adults · Flower Mound, TX & Telehealth Across Texas
About This Service
Whether you're navigating emotional overwhelm, struggling to keep up with a brain that works differently, or carrying the weight of being everything to everyone — you deserve support that actually meets you where you are.
At Sentient Path PLLC in Flower Mound, TX, we offer DBT therapy, ADHD-affirming counseling, and women's mental health support for teens and adults. Our approach is warm, evidence-based, and grounded in the understanding that real change takes more than advice — it takes a space where you feel genuinely seen.
"A lot of people come in knowing something is hard, but not quite having the language for it. That's okay. We figure it out together."
We accept Aetna, Anthem, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. HSA payments are also welcome. New clients are welcome. In-person sessions are available at our Flower Mound office, and telehealth is available to anyone in Texas.
Areas of Focus
Dialectical Behavior Therapy builds practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and relationships. Effective for anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and self-harm patterns.
Therapy that works with how your brain actually functions — not against it. We support teens and adults navigating attention, executive function, time management, and the emotional weight of being neurodivergent in a world not built for you.
Support for anxiety, depression, life transitions, body image, postpartum mental health, and the emotional complexity of caregiving, high-responsibility roles, and identity shifts across a woman's life.
Evidence-based support for persistent worry, low mood, and the ways anxiety and depression show up differently in teens versus adults — and in women specifically.
A warm, nonjudgmental space for adolescents navigating school stress, identity, social pressure, emotional dysregulation, and the transition into adulthood.
Support through major shifts — new roles, relationship changes, career pivots, grief, and the quiet grief of becoming someone different than you expected to be.
How We Work
Skills-based, structured, and highly effective for emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
You are the expert on your own life. Therapy here is collaborative, not prescriptive.
ADHD and neurodivergence are not deficits. We work with your brain's strengths, not against its differences.
Practical mindfulness woven into sessions — not as a cliché, but as a real tool for nervous system regulation.

Common Questions
Do you accept Aetna or Blue Cross Blue Shield?
Yes. Sentient Path PLLC accepts Aetna, Anthem, and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) for therapy services. We recommend contacting us before your first session to verify your specific plan's coverage.
What is DBT and is it right for me?
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is an evidence-based approach that teaches practical skills for managing emotions, tolerating distress, improving relationships, and building mindfulness. It is effective for anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, and more. If you're not sure if DBT is the right fit, we can talk through that during your free consultation.
Do you provide ADHD testing or medication?
No. We offer ADHD-affirming therapy — support for the emotional and functional challenges of living with ADHD — but we do not provide diagnostic testing or prescribe medication. We are happy to coordinate with your prescriber or refer you for testing if needed.
Do you see teens?
Yes. We work with adolescents ages 12 and up. Parent involvement is discussed collaboratively and depends on the teen's age and clinical needs.
