For Teens & Adults · Flower Mound, TX & Telehealth Across Texas
About This Service
Whether you're struggling with substance use, caught in a cycle of compulsive behavior, or living with the relentless pull of obsessive thoughts — you deserve support that doesn't judge where you've been. It starts with understanding what's driving the pattern, not just stopping it.
At Sentient Path PLLC in Flower Mound, TX, we offer therapy for addiction, OCD, behavioral addictions, and co-occurring mental health concerns for teens and adults. Our approach is evidence-based, harm-reduction informed, and grounded in genuine care — not shame.
"Most people don't come in because they want to stop. They come in because they're exhausted. That's enough of a reason to start."
We accept Aetna, Anthem, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. HSA payments are also welcome. New clients are welcome. In-person sessions are available at our Flower Mound office, and telehealth is available to anyone in Texas.
Areas of Focus
Therapy for alcohol, cannabis, prescription medication, and other substance use patterns. We use a harm-reduction framework — meeting you where you are, without judgment about where you should be.
Support for compulsive behaviors that don't involve substances — including gambling, pornography use, compulsive spending, technology overuse, and other patterns that feel out of control.
Therapy for obsessive-compulsive disorder, intrusive thoughts, and the anxiety-driven cycles that keep you stuck. We work with the full range of OCD presentations — not just the stereotypes.
Addiction and OCD rarely travel alone. We address the anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional dysregulation that often show up alongside compulsive patterns.
Building the skills, awareness, and support structures that make recovery sustainable — not just short-term. We work on what happens after the crisis, not just during it.
A nonjudgmental space for adolescents navigating early substance use, compulsive behaviors, and the pressures that fuel them. Parent involvement is handled collaboratively based on the teen's age and needs.
How We Work
We meet you where you are. Change doesn't require perfection — it requires honesty and a direction. We work with your goals, not against them.
We draw on approaches with strong research support — including CBT, motivational interviewing, and exposure-based techniques for OCD — tailored to your specific situation.
Shame is one of the biggest barriers to recovery. This is a space where you can be honest about what's actually happening without fear of judgment.
Many compulsive patterns are rooted in unprocessed pain. We hold space for the whole picture — not just the behavior on the surface.
